We are seeking a Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist to improve the quality of life for people recovering from a severe and persistent mental illness. The Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist meets one on one with patients on a regular basis and follows a carefully developed treatment plan in order to help clients build functional behaviors and coping skills for interaction with their surroundings. The Community Based Rehabilitation Specialist aids patients in gaining and utilizing skills necessary to function adaptively in home and community settings and attain or retain capability for independence. *Differential pay offered for Spanish speaking employees. *

Responsibilities
  • Uphold and implement all state regulations according to Magellan
  • Attend all staff trainings and meetings as required or requested
  • Meet one on one with clients on a regular basis

Qualifications

  • $100,000/$300,000 vehicles coverage required if driving clients

Certified Family Support Partner 
A Certified Family Support Partner (CFSP) leverages their personal experience caring for a child with a mental health disorder to connect, mentor, and build credibility with families. This unique perspective allows CFSPs to work with parents and children in ways that differ from other professionals on the team.
Responsibilities:
Advocacy and Education
  • Advocate for the needs of the family.
  • Teach family members and the individual how to develop self-advocacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Mentor the individual and family to instill hope.
  • Role model behaviors, attitudes, and thinking skills needed for resiliency and coping.
  • Help family members identify and utilize their strengths.
  • Facilitate collaborative relationships.
  • Educate the individual and family about the causes of disorders and the importance of adhering to treatment, using evidence-based interventions.
Support and Resources
  • Assist the family in identifying and connecting to services and community resources.
  • Help family members articulate their needs and goals in preparation for meetings and service plans.
  • Provide family-based programs, such as classes on parenting special needs children.
  • Teach caregivers how to document activities related to the child’s appointments, meetings, needs, goals, and strengths.
  • Assist in preparing for the child’s transition to adulthood.
Administrative Duties
  • Attend monthly individual and group supervision with a clinician.
  • Participate in periodic team, department, and agency-wide staff meetings.
  • Submit records of weekly interventions, initial recovery plans, and quarterly recovery plan reviews in a timely manner.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks for Pearl Health Clinic and Warren Rentals. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.). Performs other tasks as assigned. This is a part-time, nonexempt hourly position, reporting to the Facilities Manager.

  • Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed
  • Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
  • Clean windows and glass doors
  • Change of all filters for HVAC as required

  • Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials
  • Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed

Practice

Pearl Health Clinic (PHC) is a large outpatient multidisciplinary community mental health clinic serving all ages and presenting problems throughout Eastern Idaho. Services provided include clinical interviews, outpatient psychotherapy, medication management, neuropsychological and psychological testing. There are over 20 licensed behavioral health providers practicing at Pearl Health Clinic.

Location

Pearl Health Clinic is located in Ammon, a city within the Idaho Falls Metropolitan area of approximately 150,000 residents. Idaho Falls is Idaho’s largest city outside the Boise metropolitan area. Idaho Falls offers an abundance of shopping, restaurants and entertainment opportunities. The city has nearby golfing, skiing, ice-skating, an aquatic center, aquarium, and zoo. It has a beautiful river walk trail known as the Greenbelt and is a short day trip away from many different outdoor activities and attractions such as Jackson Wyoming.
