Colin is a person-centered counselor and believes in the inherent ability of each human being to self-actualize and reach their individual, full potential. In addition to traditional therapy styles, he also incorporates creative counseling techniques such as sand tray therapy, play therapy, and art therapy. Colin has worked in the mental health field since 2011 in a variety of different roles. He also has extensive international experiences in working with children who are victims of human trafficking.
Colin works with children, adolescents and adults who experience a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, oppositional defiance, ADHD, relationships, self-harm, crisis, attachment, adoption, and grief and loss. Additionally, Colin also works with members of the LGBTQ+ community. He has specialized training and experience in adoption, attachment, multicultural counseling, play and sand tray therapy, and grief and loss.
Colin is licensed in the state of Idaho as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), recognized nationally as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and received his Masters degree in Counseling, as well as his bachelors degree in Social Work, both from Idaho State University.
